Soliloquy n. 1. The freedom one feels speaking to no one and nothing for as long as desired. 2. the feeling that no one is paying attention to you/Alone time in the outdoors/to be or not to be, what is the answer/protection from talking someone’s ears off/speaking to an audience of one/speaking to the only one who understands/permission to vent—or scream—or sob—without censor/the opportunity to pour out one’s longings onto an apathetic world/the chance to create with words and have no one to tell you that your word castles are made of sand/the reminder that all the world’s a stage…
